Simon Willison's year-in-review post captures the key advances well, especially in reasoning and tool use.

The skepticism surrounding AI is often reasonable. Much of the public's exposure is limited to low-value content or high-level announcements.

But looking past the noise, the underlying systems have changed. A clear gap now exists between what models can achieve and how individuals or organizations actually use them.

Specific forecasts remain uncertain, but the technology is ready to be applied.

The purpose of Relegate is to close that gap. We want to build the tools and processes that let people and institutions adapt to these changes and get work done.
